We had a great time on this trip! We started at Lake Alamo Az and from there went rock collecting at Burro Creek, where we discovered a place not on the rock hound maps where every rock on the ground was agate or pastelite suitable for cutting! The highlight was meeting up with Tom and Mary Frankert in Las Vegas. We also got to see Elisa, their daughter whom I had not seen since she was a little girl. We made a road trip to Mt. Charleston then had a great dinner with our friends. After leaving Vegas, we went up to Zion National Park which was nice. The temperature forecast for Alpine Az, our next stop, was 20 degrees, so we decided to save that one till next year.
